Million Dollar Ads Concept

milliondollarhomepage.comThe creator of www.milliondollarhomepage.com has taken his website ideas to a new level, establishing this building based on the original concept.

The website features just ads, ads & more ads and has earned the creator more than a million US$ in advertising cash. So now he owns this building as well, and we’re sure if the website made money, that this baby is a proper cash cow. It might not look so great, but those green paper thingies that you buy stuff with, certainly does!

It also seems from this image that a bunch of the big names (Google, McD’s, Nike & even Playboy) is already supporting this concept. It’s only a matter of time, before everyone else is doing it as well.

So Google didn’t buy MySpace…

But who really cares? I might be biased just because I think MySpace is a badly designed piece of crap (I will however say “big up” to the founders, because they’ve earned their bread money) and I don’t think that Google would’ve made much difference to that.

The only way Google could’ve “rescued” MySpace, was to overhaul and redo the whole thing, but the geeks at Google decided to rather build their MySpace, which should always be better…Apparently Rupert Murdoch, owner of News Corp who purchased MySpace for approx $600 million, said that Google could’ve bought MySpace before them for half the price News Corp paid. This is obviously all just hearsay and internet rumours.

Apparently News Corp has quite an extensive plan in place – we would expect so much – to make MySpace profitable and being giant media moguls, they should be successfull. But it’s MySpace – although it’s an amazing concept with a proven success record – the verdict is still out on the profitability of the whole thing.

So, in my humble opinion, Google did the right thing NOT to buy MySpace – that’s if they were actually really interested from the start. My opinion is also that the whole MySpace concept is only a phase and that Google should not try to create a better version – they should rather spend more time on their ongoing battle with Microsoft, because that’s just so much more fun!

Blow-me-up Foozie

Real-life Foosball This looks like some awesome fun to us and the $600 pricetag seems to justify the fun. And it’s so easy…plug it in, let the pump do all the work, grab a few friends, grab a few beers and then have some great (slightly immature) footie.

Gotta love all those gadget geeks (no offence – we’re kinda geeks ourselves) that come up with these nifty products for the jocks! We thought that the geeks hated the jocks ever since high school!?

Victoria’s Brazilian Secret

adrianalima7.jpgAdriana Lima, the 25-year-old exotic Brazilian goddess, is surely one of the world’s top runway and fashion models. She gets her stunningly good looks from her French, Portuguese, Native-American and Carribean heritage.

Her modelling career started when she won a Ford modelling competition at the tender age of 13. After that her career just skyrocketed – appearring in all of the world’s top fashion magazines and making name for herself in the US and UK.

At the moment she’s famous as a Victoria Secret’s model and she’s known as the VS “Angel”, after appearing on the runway with angelic wings on her back for the specific VS Angels Collection.

We hope there is some more years of fame and glamour for Adriana yet, because we certainly don’t mind seeing the photos.

Space Furniture!?

Isle Lounge Sofa by Asobi

The Isle Lounge Sofa by Asobi is part of the Products for Zero Gravity range and it really looks like something designed by and for aliens. It’s available in two sizes and made from a composite of various high-quality materials and apparently it can seat a few people (in total comfort) at once.

Some Alternative World Cup Fun

Choose a footballing mascot and fight against the other countries’ mascots. This is a silly, silly, very silly game, but you have to play it.

32E: Keeley Hazell

Seems to us that everybody is digging the big-breasted London lass & famous page 3 girl, Keeley Hazell, lately. She’s been doing quite a bit of posing lately for FHM, Maxim & ZOO and she’s not afraid to go topless either. But apparently she refused an offer to go topless for Playboy. Strange indeed…

More World Cup Fun

This is probably the best “World Cup” related fun this year. Choose a girl, have her dance for you and then vote for your favourite. The flash site is also very well-designed, but takes a little while to load. But we seriously recommend the small wait – you’ll see why soon!

NEW Coca Cola BLAK

All-time favourite brand, Coca Cola, has just launched a new drink called BLAK. Apparently the new drink is a fusion between normal Coke and coffee.

We quote them: “Every sip is an experience… to enliven your senses and welcome new possibilities. So find your muse. Find higher ground.”

Interesting indeed and these images (downloadable from the website) are impressive.
