Update on this story: Google’s doing everything possible about click fraud (posted on 22 June)
There’s been a ruling in Google’s , Lane Gifts vs Google, click fraud case. Judge Griffin has decided that the experts’ opinion is indeed the truth, and that Google’s practises are fair to its advertisers. Again, I must state that this doesn’t mean that click fraud is not happening, but merely that Google is battling it every day…
Here is the official statement on the Google Blog and here is Judge Griffin’s full verdict and ruling.

Thom Yorke, frontman for Radiohead, has produced the new cool music you should be listening. After Radiohead have been going more and more with electronic sounds in their past albums, Thom has released his debut “solo” (according to Thom he doesn’t like the word) album, The Eraser, which is a lot more electronic beats & sounds. The piano is also very prominent on most tracks and Thom’s vocals are as eerie and mystifying as ever.
This is truly amazing music, and having never been that big a Radiohead fan, I’m quite surprised at my sudden for the new album. This is not however anyone’s cup of tea and the older Radiohead fans will not appreciate this. You also won’t like this if you’re conservative or narrow-minded, because this isn’t Radiohead and it isn’t mainstream rock ‘n roll. Far from that…
Amidst all the good publicity that Thom has received since the launch of his album on 10 June this year, he has also indicated that he will not be leaving Radiohead and that the band are busy with a new album due for release later this year. So there’s some good news for those of you that can’t appreciate progression.

Here’s some more great, but not that innovative, branding from the guys and girls over at Axe. This public transport bus really gets pimped out…The whack thing about all this is the fact that this was done in Dubai…Dubai really comes close to the first world country status, judging by this.

Check out these neck ties by Swedish Design Company, Ulterior Motive. Priced at approx $45, this must be a really “smart” investment. The ties look really, really cool, but the price might be a stumbling block for most, except the rich, cool kids…

Reebok has just announced a multi-million dollar, multi-year sponsorship deal with leading actress, Scarlett Johansson. The 21-year-old actress will team up with the crew from Reebok to create a new footwear and apparel range called “Scarlett Hearts Reebok”.
We quote:
“Reebok is thrilled to partner with Scarlett because she is a world renowned style icon and truly an inspiration for today’s young women,” said Reebok’s President and CEO Paul Harrington. “Scarlett embodies the pulse points of our brand - individuality, authenticity and a life lived to the fullest in perpetual motion. These characteristics make her the perfect fit for our new women’s footwear and apparel collection and also for our exciting new women’s campaign.”
Seems that Reebok are jumping on this opportunity due to Scarlett’s well-known fashion flair and the fact that she was recently voted “Best Dressed” in a recent poll by Yahoo!. This is wack stuff. Certainly a very cool name for the range and the logo should be interesting. Plus we just think Scarlett is so hot right now…
