The Battle of The Tight Pants

Here’s just a very random YouTube video showing a cute girl trying to get her (apparently) very tight jeans off…Not sexual, but sexy in a weird Lord of the Rings epic-battle, type of way… Sometimes I just amaze myself with the insane comments I post here…

Google AdSense’s Top Earners

Google AdSenseJust a short post to link to an article we found about the top 8 earners with Google AdSense accounts. Earning $300K / month is no laughing matter, for a job which normally entails sitting at home and running a proper website. If you all just click on our ads a little more, we can maybe, one day, in the distant future, earn that much as well…Mmm…Don’t think so. We earn small, minute, almost-non-existent change compared to that…

Artistic Nike

Along with the new Nike TV ad, featuring Italian soccer star Marco Materazzi, that we featured yesterday, we’re going with Nike’s swoosh again today. This is a new print campaign for Nike and it’s got a beautiful mix of retro art & modern branding. The artists really did an awesome job in pulling this off!

In our opinion this is a really risky concept and therefor all the more kudo’s to Nike and the creators. Not everyone likes arty advertising, especially in a world were modern style is everything (read iPod and Apple). This idea is thus in a small way, very fresh, although not unique. At least it’s someting different and the execution stays brilliant, irrespective of your opinion.

Have a look…

Nike takes a hit at Zidane

This is probably the funny ad of the year. The ad showcases Marco Materazzi, the Italian soccer player that was headbutted by Zinedine Zidane in the recent World Cup Final, with the “chest of steel”. The caption to the ad reads: “Nike. Every Athlete has a secret weapon!”

Absolutely brilliant!

Combined is better

This is a new ad from Burger King in New Zealand. Quite a clever ad which declares that rugby, beaches, ponies & girls in bikini’s are good individually, but much better when combined. Obviously it’s all about their new “Cheesy Bacon Tenderstrip” burger though (and not the girls in bikini’s)…
