These are some of our favourite art pieces from Banksy’s art exhibit called “Barely Legal”, which started showing in LA this week. The exhibition was attented by VIP’s such as Brad Pitt, Angelina & also legendary rocker, Zack de la Rocha.
Most of the pieces went for around $100K each and some of them sure are worth them. Our favourite is obviously the fully live elephant that was painted in pink…

Just some wack 70’s inspired wallpapers we found over at Cool Hunter. We just like the design and the fact that it is not ultra-modern and all technological. Sometimes retro gets overdone, but sometimes it’s still cool. And we don’t care what you think - we sometimes like stuff that our parents thought were cool…

Have a look at the new Minox DC1011 Carat Digital Camera, which sports a 24 carat gold plating. Awesome! What will designers think of next? Maybe this model should’ve been called Minox “Please steal me quick” DC1011!?
For even more exclusive pleasures and indulgences for the photographer, the lens is also surrounded by 10 diamonds. The 10.1 MegaPixel camera, with a 2.5″ display and 3x zoom aren’t sluggish either.
The camera also offers its owner all the “basic” features (considering that the gold plating isn’t very standard in digital cameras) and overall (design excluded now) it’s a proper camera.
Designers have come up with a clever way of making more money, by putting a very hefty pricetag on something you don’t need (read: gold & diamonds on a camera). But in a society where exclusivity rules, and life is all about keeping up with the Jones’, this camera will be a huge success.
Wonder if Steve Jobs will release platinum-and-diamond editions for the iPod or iMacs soon!? Should be even better than the camera.

Simple, yet very efficient and clever ad campaign for Lamborghini. The copy simply reads: “Welcome to Santa Agata Bolognese. Home of Lamborghini.”
