Quit Smoking?

After those guys or girls or whoever had all that success with PostSecret (they’ve published 3 books), where ordinary cool people like us can submit their most intimate secrets for publication on the blog, there’s a new similar service online now.

The Art of Quiting Smoking is a Dutch website which asks visitors to contribute a quit smoking message in the most interesting way they can create. This is actually just fun - I don’t neccessarily think that it will be effective in helping or motivating anyone to quite smoking, because we all know smoking is addictive and all. But it’s still quite a cool idea, so check the site out.

Here’s a few previews:

As someone who used to smoke… you never know what will make you stop. This site PostSecret might do the trick for some smoker who need the help.

Very interesting site! Thanks I didn’t know it existed!

i think those ads can make the people quit smoking or if not stop them at once to decrease the number of cigarettes and maybe someday to quit them forever.

Anything is possible, one only needs will power to succeed. I was a smoker
for the past 34 years and I decided to quit smoking once. To say the results
of quitting are wonderful is an understatement. Built that desire (to stop smoking) in you. Think very strongly about the benefits of what that giant leap
will bring and failure will be erased in your mind. Practice that will power
again and again saying it loudly every time you feel that you will give in.
“I DARE NOT FAIL, I DARE NOT FAIL”. By so doing you will reduce the stigma
of tobacco craving and most probably win the war against tobacco .

Many thanks for allowing me to post my comments on this site.

I just felt like sharing my experience with you all and i’m grateful to you for letting me post this comment. I agree it’s not easy to get rid if this grim habit. I tried hypnosis and several other custom methods but none of these worked until the day my friend suggested me to go to a clinic. With the thought that giving this opportunity is not going to harm me in any way and who knows it may work, i went there (Healthvibes Clinic) one day. They use Bioresonance therapy and i could feel the changes after the very first session of my treatment and today i do not even crave for this. For me it’s a great achievement specially since i started smoking at the age of 12 and did so for 20 years. I would sincerely ask anyone who wants to give up smoking and has given up hope with conventional methods please do pay a visit at www.healthvibes.co.uk.

Outdoor Smoking Products…

Outdoor smoking shelter is a good idea for those smokers that want to smoke outside. This keeps you warm and dry, and out of the weather, while at the same time giving you some fresh air and sunshine and protections from the elements while you enjoy a …

hi…Some of the most used quit smoking products are the quit smoking medications. They are especially developed to cure the addiction nicotine creates and to help people quit smoking. This kind of medication comes in different forms, shapes and sizes, and works in different ways. Some of the most used quit smoking medications are the nicotine patch, the nicotine gum, the nicotine pill, the nicotine nasal spray and the nicotine inhaler. I have one site which is all about quit smoking secrets.

Stick to your objective and keep notes as disturbedme101 noted, IMO. I think you hit the nail on the head, when you said it was your own self that gets in the way; so by knowing what those triggers are, that make you “fall off the wagon,” reduce them over time to get where you need to go. Although, frequently I have to now force myself to eat to not keep losing weight, that wasn’t always the case. But everybody is different. You made progress before, you should be able to replicate it.
