Here is another ad that is a bit related to our “Dont have Cybersex” post. Although it does not have the same message, it surely is in the same league. It’s quite funny, but a little disturbing as well.
Reality is that kids are exposed to internet porn at a very young age and because they are so impresionable at that age, internet porn can really fcuk with their brain. With all the “parenting”-software out there to police internet porn, it surely is a no-brainer for parents who want to give their kids access to the net - just install the neccessary controls to prevent any unfortunate situations…
Oh, and do you also wonder what he did with the dog…?

Lego recently had the prestigious ad firm, Saatchi & Saatchi, create this ad campaign entitled “Rebuild it!” for the brand. The images depict recent real-life disaster scenes that have shocked the world in recent years.
Both these ads are however USA-related and we all know how passionate and patriotic they are about their dear country. This means that although we don’t necessarily agree with the campaign, it will certainly evoke some kind of reaction out of the American public.
So is this clever or just plain stupid?

And this is the type of advertising that is showing up especially for today. Although the ad makes perfect sense - with the message being quite clear - it’s probably to “cute” and stylish to actually make an impact. We must admit though that upper-middleclass people shop at YDE and maybe they’ve thus got their target market right. But again, the ad is a little weird… Does not leave a good feeling in my stomach. Don’t know why - and no, it’s not guilt in any way…

This is a funny little TV ad, created by the Dutch or the Germans, to discourage people from having cybersex. Although we don’t speak either Dutch or German, we can at least guess the meaning of the ad is that there are sick people around and you never know who is really on the other side.
Although serious, it’s also a funny situation. Remember back in the day when IRC was the trend, how many kiddies wanted to have cybersex… Sometimes it seemed that someone told someone else who told the whole kiddie population that the Internet is made for cybersex…
Anyway, here’s the ad, quite funny. Have a look!
