Tiny 4 GB Sony Thumbdrive

My latest gadget acuisition is a tiny Sony Microvault Thumbrive ( PenDrive). Its literally no bigger than my big thumbnail (no i dont have enormous thumbs either!).

These little drives measure only 3 cm long by 1.5 cm wide by 2.4 mm thick and the 4gb of space is enough to run a portable version of linux.

Futuristic Mobile Phone Concepts

You can have a look at these three new concept phones, developed by Benq-Siemens. I would say that these designs are very optimistic and will possibly never see the light, but didn’t the pessimists say this about a lot of the technological advancements we have today and use in our everyday life.

I dunno however whether I truly like any of these phones. They look stylish, but a bit wack. And I definitely dislike the armband phone - maybe my 10 year old sister will wear that to school.

Here are the phones:

Go-Bike

gobike.jpg

Just a quick post to lavish some praise on the new Go-Bike. Again invented by the Japanese, this little nifty fold-away bike is perfect for inner-city transport and when you don’t have a lot of storage space. Although this concept isn’t brand new, the Go-Bike is apperently the first fold-away that actually offers the performance of a normal bicycle as well. And the cool thing is that it actually looks really great!

If we were Japanese and living in the crowded streets from Tokyo, we’d put this on our early Christmas 2007 wishlist…

Go-go Ghostbusters

ghostbusters.jpg

Are you a big fan of the legendary and mythic Ghostbusters? Well, now you can own Ecto 1, the official Ghostbusters car (it’s actually a 1959 Cadillac). Over here you can buy this beauty for about $150 000. That might sound like a bit too much, but a true believer and fan (and semi-millionaire) would not blink an eye at the asking price.

Put this in your pool and play Titanic

iceberg.jpgThis is a very random entry and a very, very random toy / gadget. But it does look kinda fun, so we thought we’d add it here.

This is an inflatable iceberg that you can add to your swimming pool, for a whole new fun swimming experience. Three of the sides has grips for climbing, ranging from beginner to expert difficulty, whilst the fourth side is a slide to catapult yourself back into the water after you’ve conquered the peaks of Mt Iceberg.

It however costs just a fraction below $9000 and you’ve got to have quite a big pool as well… Still seems fun though!
