Micro Needling

Treatment For Stretch Marks

Skin Needling Rollers

Until recently Micro Needling was quite costly and needed frequent trips to the doctors; however Microneedling has become a regular procedure in most normal house holds. The Derma-Roller is a easy to use device with lots of gama sterilized tiny needles which, as they are rolled over the skin, delicately part the pores of the epidermis and set off the healing process increasing the production of collagen and elastin.

Collagen is essential for skin to heal

It is the production of this extra collagen and elastin that makes all the difference, the main source of the occurance of skin conditions such as stretch marks and scars is a lack of collagen and elastin in the skin, when this is replaced the skin returns to its original firm state. When the skin becomes damaged, such as a cut, the skin heals itself to stay healthy; but unfortunately the skin doesn’t heal to a satisfactory level.

For scars, stretchmarks and Wrinkles to be removed, the skin needs to believe that there is reason to restart the healing process producing more collagen and elastin, using a Derma-roller achieves this by opening the pores of the epidermis giving the illusion of the skin being damaged and in need of repair. regular Micro Needling will make sure that you skin heals itself to a cosmetic level.

Is Microneedling the best option?

Compared to other methods (and when done at home), Micro Needling is far cheaper and better then procedures such as just using creams because the skin absorbes only a tiny percentage of creams applied, however when applied within an hour of using the Dermaroller the creams are absorbed much better as the pores are open.

Micro Needling is used to reduce a range of skin conditions; Stretch marks, Cellulite, Wrinkles, pitted skin, acne scars, surgery scars, scars, crow’s feet etc

Previously Micro-Needling has been a dear practice requiring visiting a specialist; however Micro-Needling has become a normal procedure in a lot of normal house holds. The skin needling roller is a simple device with many gama sterilized microscopic needles which, {as they are rolled over the skin}, carefull part the pores of the epidermis (top layer of skin) and activate the healing process increasing the production of collagen and elastin.

Collagen is important for skin to cosmetically heal

Collagen and elastin are the main aspects in the occurance of stretch marks, the primary cause of the formation of skin conditions including stretch marks and scars is that there is not enough|there is a lack of collagen and elastin in the skin, when this is replaced the skin goes back to its smooth state. When an injury occurs, such as a cut, the skin heals itself enough to stay healthy; however the skin doesn’t heal to a satisfactory level.

For scarring, Stretch marks and Wrinkles to be removed, it is essential for the skin to have reason to restart healing itself and produce more collagen and elastin, skin needling achieves this by seperating the pores of the upper layer of skin giving the illusion of a trauma on the skin and in need of repair. regular Micro Needling will make sure that you skin heals itself to a cosmetic level.

Is Microneedling the best option?

In compasison to other procedures, Microneedling is much more cost effective and more effective then therapies such as purely using creams as the skin absorbes only a tiny percentage of creams applied, however when applied within an hour of using the microneedling roller the creams are absorbed much better as the pores are open.

Removing Acne Scars

Acne Scar Removal

Acne Scars occur if an infection develops in acne and the skin repairs itself just enough to remain healthy but unfortunately leaves discoloured and / or pitted marks on the face, they are often very difficult and costly to remove.

Many treatments for acne scars can be bought in the shops ranging from creams to micro-needling. Creams or skin masks are the most commonly used for treating acne scarring which can (but not always) be affective but take quite a while for the results to begin to show as a big percentage of these creams don’t get absorbed by the skin. Creams are, therefore, wasted and so are not economical.

An alternative tool that can be purchased for acne scar removal is the dermaroller. This is a roller for skin needling; you simply roll the derma-roller over the effected area of skin which opens the pores of your epidermis (top layer of skin) causing it to believe that it is damaged triggering the production of collagen and elastin which eventually heals the damaged skin.

After using the derma roller the pores on the skin are enlarged for as long as so this is the best time to apply creams as they are much better absorbed when the pores are open as opposed to when the pores are closed. This reduces the waste in creams and increases the effectiveness of the derma roller.

There are more extreme methods to remove acne scars however these are all expensive and have to be carried out by professionals and then they’re not even guaranteed to work! These include; Micro dermabrasion, laser treatments, chemical peals and also skin needling can be done by a professional more vigorously using a longer needle size and numbing cream.

In my experience in treating acne scars I have found that the most result effective and cost effective treatment is derma rolling at home as it is relatively cheap and as it works by inducing the healing process is the most natural way to heal acne scars.
