For the last six or seven months I have been building my home business on the internet. I have spent roughly 9 hours everyday online, writing articles and using social media to generate leads, and learning how to market my home business. I am absolutely loving what I do, and can’t wait to get working every day. I often spend my nights tossing and turning in bed with ideas floating round in my head, that are keeping me awake!

The trouble is, with constantly sitting at the computer, I have gained some weight and am not at all fit! Of course, that is not going to stop me from working!

However I have realised that this is not good for my health. I knew things had to change when I was out of breath after running a (very) short distance! I have now made some changes and can already feel the benefits! I now go for at least one walk a day (its spring here in England, so a great time to get out in the fresh air) or sometimes a bike ride. Sometimes I get in a second walk with my man in the evening.

Amazingly after only two weeks at this, I feel so much better already, and my paunchy stomach is already receding!

And would you believe, I have found a side benefit already: I am working my home business better! I am more focused. For some reason, the fresh air that I am getting is clearing my brain, so everything seems more simple! Its funny, but I spend a little less time on the computer, but I work a little harder. I guess I am working smart!

I have also changed several of my coffees for glasses of water. Of course coffee is not good for you in excess. And water keeps me hydrated. I have also cut down the constant snacking. Its difficult when you are working your business at home to keep yourself from diving into the kitchen again and again. What I do now is keep some healthy snacks by the computer!

And I actually stop for lunch too! I go outside or into another room. Because I feel so much better when I return to the computer.
