Wordpress has been around for just 8 months and already they have established themselves as one of many bloggers’ preferred choice of blog hosts. At this point we must also indicate, that The Cool Crowd is also indeed powered by Wordpress, although not hosted by them.

WP currently hosts in excess of 300 000 blogs, which in turn generates traffic from about 14.2 million unique visitors a month. These stats are indeed pretty impressive, although they might not compare with more popular blog hosts just as Typepad, Blogger or Blogspot.

With a lot of support from various internet developers, Wordpress is surely on the rise and gives even the most amateur bloggers a very user-friendly and efficient blogging experience.
